This Privacy Policy explains how GD Crossword (“we”, “us”, or “the App”) handles information when you use our mobile game on Android. We designed GD Crossword as a casual word puzzle game and we do not require you to create an account or provide your name, email, or phone number to play.

2. Information we collect
Depending on your device settings and the services used in the App, we may process:
- Gameplay data stored on your device — level progress, scores, coins (GD), power-ups, sound/vibration preferences, daily streak / mission flags, and similar local game state (via on-device storage such as PlayerPrefs). This data stays on your device unless you clear app data or uninstall the App.
- Advertising identifiers and ad interaction data — when ads are shown through Google AdMob (for example interstitial, rewarded, or app-open ads). Ad networks may collect device advertising ID, IP address, approximate location derived from IP, device/app info, and how you interact with ads, subject to your device consent / ad personalization settings.
- Analytics and crash / performance data — if Firebase Analytics and/or Firebase Crashlytics are enabled, we may receive anonymous or pseudonymous usage events, device model, OS version, app version, session info, and crash logs to improve stability and gameplay.
- Remote configuration — Firebase Remote Config may fetch non-personal configuration values (for example ad unit IDs or reward amounts) so we can update game parameters without shipping a new app build.
We do not intentionally collect sensitive personal data such as payment card numbers, precise GPS location, contacts, photos, or microphone audio.
3. How we use information
- To run the game, save progress, and remember your settings
- To show ads and grant rewarded-ad benefits (for example GD coins)
- To measure performance, fix bugs, and improve levels / features
- To configure ad and reward parameters remotely
- To comply with applicable laws and store policies (including Google Play)
4. Legal bases (where applicable)
Where GDPR or similar laws apply, we rely on legitimate interests (operating a free game, analytics for stability, showing ads to support the App) and/or consent where required for personalized advertising or certain analytics cookies / SDKs.
5. Third-party services
The App may use the following third-party services. Their own privacy policies apply to data they process:
- Google AdMob — Google Privacy Policy
- Firebase (Analytics, Crashlytics, Remote Config, Hosting for this policy) — Firebase Privacy
- Unity engine / runtime — standard engine processing on your device; see Unity’s documentation for engine-related privacy notices where relevant.
These providers may process data on servers outside your country. We choose reputable providers and configure them for the App’s purposes only.
6. Children’s privacy
GD Crossword is a general-audience puzzle game. It is not directed at children under 13 (or the minimum age required in your region). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided personal information, contact us and we will take reasonable steps to delete it.
7. Data retention
- Local gameplay data remains on your device until you clear storage or uninstall.
- Ad, analytics, and crash data are retained by the respective providers according to their policies and our configuration.
8. Your choices & rights
- Turn off sound or vibration in the in-app Settings panel.
- Reset local progress using Reset Progress in Settings (this deletes on-device game progress).
- Control ad personalization in your device / Google account settings.
- Uninstall the App to stop further collection from the App on that device.
- Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or restrict processing of personal data. Contact us to make a request.
9. Security
We take reasonable technical and organizational measures appropriate for a mobile game. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure. Please keep your device updated.
10. International users
If you use the App from outside the country where our servers or service providers operate, your information may be transferred to and processed in other countries that may have different data-protection laws.
11. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top will change when we do. Continued use of the App after an update means you acknowledge the revised policy. Material changes may also be noted in an app update description.
