Welcome to GD Crossword. These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of the GD Crossword mobile application (package name com.pridaiv.crossword) published by Pridaiv (“we”, “us”). By downloading, installing, or playing the App, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the App.
1. The service
GD Crossword is a free-to-play crossword / word-puzzle game. Features may include normal play levels, challenge modes, local progress saving, optional in-game currency (GD coins), power-ups, and advertisements (including rewarded ads). Features may change as we update the App.
2. Eligibility
You must be able to form a binding contract under the laws of your country, or use the App with permission from a parent or guardian if you are a minor. You must comply with Google Play’s terms and any local laws that apply to you.
3. License to use the App
We grant you a personal, limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to install and play GD Crossword on devices you own or control, for personal entertainment only. You may not:
- Copy, modify, distribute, sell, or lease any part of the App
- Reverse engineer or attempt to extract source code except where allowed by law
- Cheat, exploit bugs, use bots / automation, or manipulate scores unfairly
- Interfere with servers, ads, analytics, or other players’ experience
- Remove or alter trademarks, logos, or legal notices
4. Virtual items (GD coins & power-ups)
GD coins, power-ups, streaks, achievements, and similar items are virtual items with no real-world cash value. They exist only inside the App for gameplay. We may change, reset, or discontinue virtual items as part of updates, balancing, anti-cheat, or technical reasons. Virtual items are not redeemable for money unless required by mandatory law.
5. Advertising
The App may display ads (for example interstitial, rewarded, or app-open ads) through partners such as Google AdMob. Rewarded ads may grant in-game benefits when completed. Ad availability is not guaranteed. Third-party ads are subject to those partners’ terms and privacy policies.
6. Progress & data
Progress is primarily stored on your device. Clearing app data, changing devices, or uninstalling may cause loss of progress. The in-app Reset Progress action permanently deletes local progress on that device. We are not responsible for lost progress resulting from device changes, storage clearing, or user-initiated reset.
7. Updates & availability
We may provide updates that change levels, UI, ads, rewards, or remove features. The App may be unavailable at times due to maintenance, network issues, or store / device limits. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free service.
8. Intellectual property
The App, including its name, logos, artwork, audio, text, level designs, and software, is owned by Pridaiv or its licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws. These Terms do not transfer ownership of any IP to you.
9. Disclaimer of warranties
THE APP IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT, TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW.
10. Limitation of liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, PRIDAIV AND ITS AFFILIATES SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF DATA, PROGRESS, PROFITS, OR GOODWILL, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE APP. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM RELATED TO THE APP SHALL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US FOR THE APP IN THE 12 MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM (IF ANY) OR (B) USD $10.
11. Indemnity
You agree to defend and indemnify Pridaiv against claims arising from your misuse of the App or violation of these Terms, to the extent permitted by law.
12. Termination
You may stop using the App at any time by uninstalling it. We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms or misuse the App. Sections that by nature should survive (including IP, disclaimers, and liability limits) will survive termination.
13. Privacy
How we handle information is described in our Privacy Policy, which forms part of your understanding of how the App works alongside these Terms.
14. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The “Last updated” date will change when we do. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated Terms. If you do not agree, stop using the App and uninstall it.
15. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws applicable in the developer’s primary place of business, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, except where mandatory consumer protections in your country require otherwise. Courts in that jurisdiction may have exclusive venue for disputes, subject to those mandatory rights.
